Why I read this book 4 times and you should too!

Hi,
I've read at least 100 sales books and 3000 or 4000 marketing books.
I understand a number of reviews on this book weren't favorable. I think I can explain why. And tell you why I read the book 4x times and feel you should also.
1. Here's why this book is exceptional:
Rashaun earns 7 figures in commissions annually.
2. He does this by using about 10 prospecting methods every single day
3. He distributes 50,000 reply cards a month, 5000 flyers a day, and more. He passes out literature daily.
Now, when I sold insurance no one ever gave me ANY of these ideas. They told me call through my book of business and that there were some direct mail letters in a drawer I could look at!
4. He breaks down the number of leads each method generates.
Now there's one thing he doesn't do:
This book doesn't go into in-depth step-by-step implementation details.
For example, there's no sample flyer or even a picture of the flyer he distributes. There is a very rough mockup of his business reply mailer he distributes.
That is the reason I think some criticized the book.
Others said they didn't learn anything. I don't know man. The dude does 7 figures in COMMISSIONS annually. He DOMINATES the sale of family life insurance in NY. He is #1 with multiple vendors in sales.
I've read a lot of books on insurance sales and never saw one this detailed about prospecting. Most books give methods to get referrals or a few things that don't work.
This guy is what he says he is. He says he's a prospecting monster. After you read the book, I can't fathom that you aren't motivated to crank up some prospecting.
I read this book 4x so I could take notes and make sure I didn't overlook something. Plus, it kept giving me ideas.
Now, I don't sell insurance now and haven't for many years. I teach people online marketing skills. Don't expect a lot of online marketing from his book!
But if you want to know how to generate the volume of leads and activity it takes to earn 7 figures in commissions, this IS the book.
Also, what he says MATCHES my own personal experience in marketing. It takes a TON of prospecting activity of some sort to earn 7 figures.
Guys and gals, this book is only 5 bucks. He didn't document this in franchise like detail. It's 5 bucks! Not like $10,000.
This is a massive value for 5 freaking dollars. No joke. I love this book because it inspires me to do prospecting in my own business.

Stimulating, but a real-life problem

Great read, inspiring story, true to the American dream for what is possible in the life insurance business. I was impressed but when I looked him up to verify his story, details started popping up that gave me pause. In short, his insurance license in NYS was revoked, so he's no longer in business doing what the book is about.
I have no idea why, but it may be due to his phoning prospects with pre-recorded messages to consumers (B-to-c) dials. I checked and the practice he describes is illegal. It's not illegal to do B-to-B calling like this, but calling to consumers this way is illegal.
It's unfortunate in a way - he's clearly a unique presence with the gusto and force to have executed what he writes about. I don't doubt he did it all. It's too bad he didn't play within the lines because I'm sure he'd still be killing it.
Because if that I'd recommend against reading it. Instead I would recommend anything by Ben Feldman, or more like Rashaun, Joe Gandolfo. In fact, Joe Gandolfo's "Making Big Money in Selling" is what you should read if you're considering this book. Same total dedication attitude, same staggering work ethic, but Mr. Gandolfo has been in business for over 40 years and is one of the industry legends.

Great ideas, not great editing, writing.

A fast read at under an hour.
The good news is that you get several actual scripts to use, that will help you get appointments. The author also tells you why marketing methods get you in front of buyers....Most salespeople won't do these methods because they aren't taught by the companies. You'll get some good ideas here.
The bad news; The book hasn't been proofread. It's a little hard to follow in spots. It reads like it was written in 6 hours. And the author doesn't have a real command of proper English.
But, if you can ignore the unprofessional way it was edited and written, there are actually some solid ideas to take from here.
