I got this book because it was cheaper than traveling 40 miles for 12 weeks to learn about Project IMPact. Since I have family members familiar with speech pathology I sought them out when I needed clarification. With that said, the book and the DVD have been supremely helpful in getting my child to start communicating socially. One of my biggest mistakes was that I would always ask him questions which made the conversations one sided and did not give him an incentive to speak up. Thank you for such a helpful communication book. The sections are set up and are designed to help parents implement the program successfully. The practitioner's manual is helpful and I make sure to get feedback when we go to speech.
